Welcome to the Florida State Assembly of the Association of Surgical Technologists

President's Greeting

Congratulations to each of your for your committment to your profession.  Governor Rick Scott has proclaimed this week as Ntional Surgical Technologist Week in the State of Florida. As you enjoy this week of recognition, please remember to thank all those who have worked dilegently to ensure that your profession does not stagnate.

We have 34 schools of education committed to training surgical technology coworkers who will join you in this profession.  As each of you encounter the changes to healthcare that have happened due to the economy, remember your committment to certification is your future protection of your position and your profession in the operating room. Work together to support the new legislative proposal for the 2011-2012 session.

In addition, please join us for the each educational offering...our next one is in November 4th and 5th.  We look forwaard to seeing you there.
