THE ASSOCIATION OF SURGICAL TECHNOLOGISTS

The Association of Surgical Technologists provides journals, continuing education resources, workshops, and research based standards for both continuing education and the core curriculum used by schools of surgical technology.

FLORIDA STATE ASSEMBLY OF AST

Our educational committee organizes and promotes quality continuing education opportunities through the worksops that we organize. In addition the workshop provides a supportive networking forum and continuious dialog with all CAAHEP accredited surgical technology programs throughout the state of Florida. Standards for education are established through the Core Curriculum approved by the educational committees of the Association of Surgical Technology.
